From February to April of each year, whales and dolphins breed, feed and play in the seas around the Babuyan Group of Islands. According to a study conducted by the World Wildlife Fund-Philippines, there are 14 species of cetaceans that visit the islands. They include spotted dolphins, spinner dolphins, rough-toothed dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, Fraser’s dolphins, melon-headed whales, pilot whales, pygmy killer whales, dwarf sperm whale, and the humpback whale (the most commonly seen).
Within that window, LEGENDHARRY TRAVELS conduct an annual expedition trip to Camiguin Norte and the rest of the Calayan Group of Islands with the hopes of seeing those gentle giants in the wild.
In March 2016, we will conduct another Camiguin Norte Island Whale Watching Trip. Contact us to reserve your slots.
